We are looking for Managers – Monitoring and Evaluation in Delhi.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the overall project indicator tracker
  • Develop M&E plans for the project and ensure the same is followed up during implementation
  • Carry out data quality assessments/ audits regularly for data based on agreed indicators to guide decision making
  • Provide alert to the respective program team on corrective actions required to avoid delays in implementation, including flagging operational issues and risks requiring timely actions
  • Review monthly progress reports from partners and ensure they have evidence to back-up and provide feedback to the respective staff
  • Collate/ prepare regional reports related to internal reporting such as the quarterly and annual reports
  • Support in data collection, analysis, interpretation and reporting for devising program strategies
  • Assist data analyst in analysis and report making
  • Coordinate and review all survey reports prepared to ensure quality and accurate reporting
  • Timely plan and initiate all pre and post intervention assessments, KAP surveys and evaluation of outcome indicators.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Masters or Bachelor’s Degree in Epidemiology / Statistics / Monitoring & Evaluation / Demography / Population Studies.
  • Know-how in program development activities such as research, planning, data collection, ability to extract and interpret data collected and the ability to communicate with program stakeholders.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with a high-level of attention to detail.
  • Experience in designing tools and strategies for data collection, analysis and production of reports.

We are looking for a Research Associate based in Mumbai to manage research projects in the field of
maternal and child health. The research associate will be responsible for managing the research activities of
ongoing as well as new research projects.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Secondary literature review documentation.
  • Preparing draft proposals for research grants.
  • Preparing tools for research pertinent to quantitative surveys.
  • Conducting surveys and qualitative interviews and FGDs with beneficiaries and other stakeholders.
  • Data entry, cleaning and analysis using statistical software.
  • Conducting training to partners and surveyors to conduct surveys.
  • Transcription of Hindi or Marathi interviews in English.
  • Translation of research tools and documents in Marathi/Hindi.
  • Coding the qualitative research interviews.
  • Preparing initial draft research reports.
  • Any other work assigned by the organisation.

Education & Experience

  • Research experience in public health programs, preferably in SRH. Any additional experience in
    communications or health promotion research would add value.
  • Experience in conducting both primary and secondary research.
  • Proficiency in handling large scale data from multiple sites.
  • Proficiency in handling data using excel and other statistical software’s.
  • Experience in using qualitative software packages for research.
  • Experience in managing relationships with government health officials.
  • Experience in conducting training programs to conduct research.
  • Experience in research coordination with multiple sites.
  • Open for travel within the state and to other locations
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in Marathi and Hindi

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Developing strategies and setting goals to hit fundraising targets, including corpus and program funding
  • To develop a portfolio of donors including institutional, corporate, HNIs, foundations and trusts to achieve the revenue target set by the organization
  • Acquiring new partnerships and donors for increasing organization’s resources
    Writing and presenting proposals
  • Relationship management with existing donors and responding to their requests regularly and keep updating them about the work of the organization
  • Identifying and anchoring new initiatives related to resource mobilization
  • Building and managing a network of individual donors
  • Planning and executing fundraising events

Experience

Minimum two years of experience of demonstrable success in securing funding for charitable or NGO activities from a variety of funding streams including grants, CSR, individual donations and charity events.

  • Collaborate with the program team to design and conduct research and provide suitable inputs based on research outcomes.
  • Conducting interviews with pregnant women and mothers of infants, and health care functionaries in the public health system.
  • Coordinate, supervise and guide the research team to conduct multi-sites research studies.
  • Train field team for conducting fieldwork and data entry.
  • Contribute independent research outputs including papers, reports, policy briefs.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Master’s in Public Health or Social Sciences. Those with a m.Phil/Ph.D. in the area of Public Health or maternal and child health landscape will be given preference.
  • Proficiency in English and Hindi, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both these languages is a must. Knowledge of other languages will be valuable.
  • Minimum 6 to 8 years experience in conducting quantitative and qualitative primary and secondary research.
  • Proficiency in both quantitative and qualitative research designs. Must have independently undertaken such research projects. Training and experience in qualitative research methods will be highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in using statistical and qualitative software packages (SPSS/ STATA, ATLAS.ti) are mandatory.
  • Field experience in India, working with the public health system or communities is a must.
  • Self-motivated, solution-oriented and proactive individual with good communication (written and oral) skills, able to work independently as well as in teams.
